To live in our hearts is both a conscious and unconscious choice. I can tell you from a personal experience that it requires tremendous strength to live in the heart. It is not always easy and a given. When we are authentic we are based in our heart. Authenticity means to leave Janteloven behind and start to realise when we are caught there. Authenticity means being real and honest with demands courage and awareness.

Brene Brown writes:

"Authenticity demands Wholehearted living and loving - even when it's hard, even when we are wrestling with the shame and fear of not being good enough, and especially when the joy is so intense that we are afraid to let ourselves feel it."

In this lesson we will through embodiment and self examination embody the heart and explore what lives there.

The heart also represents Compassion. One might think that compassion doesn't require courage, but leaving the Ego and our self richtousness behind requires so much strength and humility, a willingness to for self reflection. Compassion is the embodiment of vulnerability and love. In order to enter the beautiful and peaceful state of compassion we must truly know what love is. Our hearts must be open to have compassion.

Let us meet this Wednesday in Hemsedal to expand our heart, expand our capacity for love and compassion.
