You are not only your mind. You are not only your Ego.

“The whole world is suffering from becoming personal, it takes a little while to get out of it, but it can be done! The cause of suffering is ego, and the cure for suffering is the exposing that you’re not the ego.” Mooji @mooji.official

"The philosopher Descartes believed that he had found the most fundamental truth when he made his famous statement. "I think therefore I am". He had, in fact, given expression to the most basic error: to equate thinking with Being and identity with thinking. The compulsive thinker, which means almost everyone, lives in a state of apparant separateness, in an insanely complex world of continuous problems and conflict, a world that reflects the ever-increasing fragmentation of the mind. Enlightenment is a state of wholeness, of being "at one" and therefore at peace. At one with life in it's manifested aspect, the world, as well, as with your deepest Self and life unmanifested - at one with Being. Enlightenment is not only the end of suffering and of continuous conflict within and without, but also the end of the dreadful enslavement to incessant thinking. What an incredible liberation this is!" Eckhart Tolle.

... In nondualism as I experience through meditation, embodiment & as a student of Kashmir Shaivism, the Ego and the Mind are part of the whole. The Ego is part of the whole to be known and recognized. The Ego is a part of what it means to be a Human Being. Where most humans get lost is when the Ego has a blind hold on us. Where humans walk around not recognizing the grasp the Ego has on the bodymind and therefore we blindly stumble around in suffering and ignorance. The very common experience and view of Self is that one is Ego and Mind and only that, loosing the experience of the whole. The Ego is part of the whole but it is not the whole. The minute the thinking mind and the emotional experience says you are only your Ego SEPARATION becomes the living experience and with that suffering a reality. Banishing the Ego, ignoring, running away from, and what some Spiritual teaching tell us to do is to leave the body and Ego behind to become One, enlightened, to live in bliss, Ananda. This is false I argue from a direct experience, from a felt sense and from a deep knowingness. The minute you ban your Ego to seek a higher consciousness you have already lost the healing and understanding of the very real and feltsense of separation. You have chosen to separate yourself from a part of you, from a part of your divine WHOLE Being. Which only leads to a new degree of suffering, confusion and a misunderstanding of Union, the true path of yoga. The Ego and Mind are part of you divine Beingfor a reason. It is there for you to know it, love it, embrace it. In that moment of true embrace from your heart, separation is no more. Love is. Bliss is. Union is. You are more than your mind. You are more than your Ego. You are "Being" as Tolle writes. Ego can be dissolved and one can BE behind the veils of Ego. When we are caught in the Ego and Mind we are caught in Maya ( Samsara and the illiusion, the covering up of the divine, oneness, Svatantrya, SatChitAnanda). Healing and walking the path of humanity only comes the minute you start to recognize your Ego, it’s voice, it’s behavior and it’s hold on you. Then take it’s hand and let it know that you are there for it. Notice the reaction and then response of your Bodymind. #ego #separation #suffering #union #nondualism #yoga #reflectionyoga #shivasutra #tantra #tantrika #kashmirshavism #eckharttolle #mooji #being #oneness #yogaphilosophy
